01What Jin VA is

Jin VA is software you download and install on your own computer. It consists of a desktop application and a local core — a background service that runs on your machine and does the actual work: reading the sources you connect, running the specialists, keeping your notes and documents, and speaking with you.

Jin VA is a productivity assistant. It is not accounting software, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice, and it is not a system of record. You remain responsible for the decisions you make and for verifying anything Jin produces before you act on it.

02Your free trial

Every plan starts with a 48-hour free trial of a limited version of Jin VA. You give a payment method to start it, and nothing is charged during those 48 hours.

The trial converts automatically. If you do not cancel before the 48 hours are up, the trial becomes the paid monthly plan you chose, and we charge your payment method the price shown on that plan. Your first paid month starts at that moment, and it renews monthly from there.

Cancelling during the trial takes one email, costs nothing, and needs no reason — see how to cancel. When you start the trial we email you a confirmation stating the exact date and time of the first charge and the amount, so you always know what is coming and by when you have to decide.

The trial is limited: it runs a reduced version of the software so you can judge whether Jin suits you. It is available once per customer.

Jin VA is young software and still under active development: features may change, be added, or be removed, and you may run into defects. The macOS build is not yet notarised by Apple, and a Windows build is not yet available. We describe the software as it is today, not as we hope it will be. If a feature you subscribed for is withdrawn and we cannot offer an equivalent, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.

03Your account and licence

Subject to these terms and to your subscription remaining active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Jin VA for your own business or personal purposes.

You may not sub-license, rent, resell, or redistribute the software, share your licence key with people outside your subscription, or attempt to circumvent licence checks. You are responsible for keeping your licence key and your account credentials confidential.

04Subscriptions and pricing

After the 48-hour trial described in section 2, subscriptions are billed monthly in euros and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices at the time of writing:

PlanPriceIncludes
Personal€49 / month1 user, 1 machine. AI usage included.
Pro€129 / monthUnlimited sources, automations and specialists. AI usage included.
Pro (own key)€69 / monthAs Pro, but you supply your own AI provider key and pay that provider directly.
Business€299 / month5 users, roles, shared workboard. Extra seat €39 / month.
Custom buildfrom €2,500One-off engagement, quoted and contracted separately.

All subscription prices shown include VAT. The amount on the plan is the amount you pay — there is nothing added at checkout. Business customers in another EU country who give a valid VAT number have VAT reverse-charged, and it is deducted at checkout. Custom builds are agreed in a separate written proposal; these terms apply to them only where the proposal does not say otherwise.

Fair use of included AI. On plans where AI usage is included, that means normal individual use of Jin as your assistant. If your usage is sustained at a level far beyond that — for example automated bulk processing — we will contact you first, and together we will either move you to an own-key plan or agree a fair price. We will never issue a surprise charge.

We may change prices. Existing subscribers are notified at least 30 days in advance by email, and the new price applies from the following billing period. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.

05Payment and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never receive or store your full card details. Your payment method is collected when you start the trial but is not charged until the trial ends. The first charge is taken 48 hours after you start, and the subscription renews on that day each month.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days. If it still fails, we may suspend the subscription until payment is made. You will receive an invoice by email for every charge.

06Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time, and there is a 14-day refund window for new subscriptions. The full policy — including how to cancel and how consumer withdrawal rights apply — is set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to use Jin VA to:

You are responsible for what you instruct Jin to do, and for making sure you are entitled to connect the accounts and systems you connect to it.

08Your data and your systems

The core runs on your machine, and your working data — your mail, calendar, documents, notes, database results — stays there. We do not have access to it, and we cannot recover it for you. Backing up your own machine is your responsibility.

When you connect a source (a Google account, a database, Telegram), you are giving Jin the access you choose to give it, on your machine. You can revoke that access at any time in the app, and at the provider.

How the limited data we do hold is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

09AI output

Jin uses large language models. These can be wrong, can miss things, and can state incorrect information confidently. Output is a draft for you to check, not a fact.

Approvals. Jin asks for your approval before it sends, publishes, pays, or deletes anything on your behalf. Do not approve an action you have not read. We are not liable for the consequences of actions you approve.

10Third-party services

Jin can connect to services operated by other companies, and it relies on a small number of providers to work. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for how they perform. The current list is in the Privacy Policy.

11Availability and support

Because the core runs on your own machine, Jin keeps working when our website does not. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee during the beta.

Support is by email at contact.mxmanagement@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one business day. Business plans include an onboarding call.

12Intellectual property

Jin VA, its name, its interface, and its source code remain the property of MX Software Solutions. Your subscription grants a licence to use it, not ownership of it.

Everything you create with Jin — your notes, documents, specialists, and the output produced for you — belongs to you. We claim no rights over it and, because it stays on your machine, we do not hold it.

13Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under Dutch law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Subject to that: the software is provided as it is; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or business interruption; and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

14Suspension and termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your subscription if you materially breach these terms — in particular section 7 — or if payment fails repeatedly. Where the breach can be put right, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a reasonable opportunity to fix it first.

On termination your licence ends and the app stops working. The software and data on your machine remain yours to remove; we cannot delete them for you.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and the version number and date at the top of this page always tell you which version is current. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it applies.

16Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the country where you live, and you can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Before any of that, please just email us. Most things are quicker to fix directly.
